MiCA: Update Your Verification

Why do we need to verify your identity again

As part of moving your account to BlockNodes SAS, our French entity authorised under the EU's new crypto regulation (MiCA), some users will be asked to re-verify their identity before the migration is finalised. If you're seeing this step, you're one of them.

This applies across the EEA, the UK and Switzerland.

What you'll need

A valid passport or national identity card, plus a working camera for a short selfie video. Driving licences are not accepted.

Important: Once you start, your current permissions and transactions will be restricted until the process is complete. Have your passport or ID card ready before starting. Driving licences are not accepted.

What happens if I don't complete it before the deadline?

Your account stays open and your funds remain safe.

However, until verification is complete, you won't be able to make new deposits, buy, sell or exchange crypto, or subscribe to new products. Full access is restored automatically once verification is completed.

How long does it take?

A few minutes to submit, and usually minutes to review. In exceptional cases it can take a few business days — we'll notify you in the app and by email.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Your data is processed under GDPR by our identity verification partner under strict confidentiality and security controls. Your data is never sold or shared with unauthorized parties.

Still have questions?

Our Support team is available 7 days a week, and even if crypto never sleeps, our team does, so between 2:00 am and 6:00 am (CET/CEST), your messages will not be answered (of course, your case will be picked up as soon as business hours resume).
