24-hours Mandatory Waiting Period (UK-Only)

Effective January 8th, 2023, new regulations from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) are in place.

As per the new regulations imposed by the FCA, all newly onboarded users residing in the UK must wait 24 hours, before they can engage in any crypto investment on SwissBorg.

If you try to invest during this period, you may see the following message:

This means you’re still within the mandatory waiting period, a time-lapse covering your first 24 hours with SwissBorg. During this period, you will be unable to perform any deposit or trade on the platform.

The 24-hours period is counted from the moment the registration process is completed. We cannot speed up this waiting period for any reason and under any circumstance.

This restriction is designed to prevent users from taking rushed decisions or acting out of fear of missing out, especially when the market seems too good to miss.

At the end of the mandatory waiting period, you will receive an email confirmation and in-app notification:
