KYC, or Know Your Customer, is a mandatory process for all regulated financial institutions. At SwissBorg, we use it to ensure the security of our platform and to comply with international regulations.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: KYC verification is mandatory. If you reach a deposit threshold before passing the required level, any additional funds deposited will remain on hold until your verification is successfully completed.
Account Levels & Limits
Our KYC is divided into three levels. Each level is mandatory and must be passed sequentially to unlock higher limits.

🪪 Level 1: Proof of Identity
To complete this step, you must submit a valid, non-damaged identity document.
Accepted Documents: Passport, ID card, or residence permit issued by your country of residence.
Note: Copies or digital pictures (like screen photos or screenshots) are not allowed.
🏠 Level 2: Proof of Residence
Required once you exceed EUR 5,000 in deposits. You must provide a document no older than 90 days that proves you are registered at the address in your account.
💰 Level 3: Proof of Funds (Source of Wealth)
Required once you exceed EUR 50,000 in deposits. We must verify how the funds you deposited were acquired over time.
Examples of Evidence: Salary slips, property sale agreements, inheritance declarations, or your latest tax return.
Once verified, your account limits for top-ups and withdrawals become unlimited.
