You may need to update the name on your account for various reasons, such as a legal name change, correcting a spelling mistake, or updating your information following a marriage or divorce. To ensure account security, we have streamlined this process so you can initiate it directly within the app.
Step 1: Access Personal Details
- Open the app and tap the Profile icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Select Personal Details from the menu.
Step 2: Start the Name Update
On the Personal Details screen, tap on your Full Name.
- A security message will appear informing you that updating your name requires supporting documents.
- Please note: Changing your name will result in a 24-hour withdrawal restriction on your account for security purposes. Tap Continue to proceed.
Step 3: Enter Your Legal Name
- Enter your legal names exactly as they appear on your identity document.
Tap Update.
Step 4: Upload Your Identity Document
To finalize the change, you will be required to upload a valid photo of your ID to verify the update.
What Happens Next?
- In most cases, identity verification is completed automatically.
- If the system is unable to verify your document, a KYC Specialist will review it manually.
- If additional information is required, you will be contacted to submit a new document.
- Once your document is approved, your name will be updated, and you will receive a confirmation via email and in-app notification.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: To protect your account, a 24-hour withdrawal restriction is automatically applied once you submit a name change request.
