How the Referral Program Works
For users referring other users (Referrer):
1. Open the app
2. Go to Profile
3. Select the Referrals card (at the top)
5. Access your Referral QR Code
6. Let your friends scan it and register your Referral code!
Important: If they use your QR code, they also have to confirm it by typing the Referral code manually during their account creation.
Alternatively, you can tap on ‘Invite Friends’ to share a link. You can send this link via any channel you like (e-mail, messaging app, etc.)
Your referral will become active, and you will earn a ticket reward in BTC, when your Referee opens a SwissBorg account and completes the challenge specified on the referral page inside the Profile section of the app.
For new users being invited to the app (Referee):
1. Use the QR you scanned and the Referral code of your referrer, or the link you clicked to download and install the SwissBorg app
2. Create your account, confirm the Referral code, and pass the first verification step
3. Complete the different onboarding tasks and unlock the Referral Reward!
4. After the challenge is completed, you will be prompted with an option:
- Fixed Reward: For a guaranteed reward amount—no surprises, just satisfaction.
- Scratch Ticket: Stick with the thrill of scratching and aim for bigger prizes.
5. Congrats! You and your referrer just received a reward ticket of up to 50 euros in Bitcoin!
Custom Referral Links
For our top referrers with more than 20 confirmed referrals, we’re offering a special token of appreciation: custom referral links! Tailor your link to better suit your needs—just reach out to our Support team to request this feature.
Important!
For the referral process to be completed and the reward tickets to be sent, these conditions must be met:
- The referrer and referee are cleared of any ongoing KYC verification.
- The challenge detailed in the referral program was successfully completed. It may vary per region and reward.
- The referee is new to the SwissBorg app and has never created an account before.
- The referrer and referee are both residents of a country where the referral program is supported.
- The referrer and referee are not involved in any promotion abuse or other misconduct that breaks our Terms of Use.
Last Chance
You created your account less than 7 days ago, and you missed the opportunity to use a friend's code? No worries, we've got you covered! In your Referrals section, you can add the code of your referrer up to 7 days after creating your account.
