We have been closely monitoring the recent surge in administrative and SaaS data breaches affecting users—particularly in France—where leaked information is often used by bad actors to cross-check data and target individuals through "enumeration" processes.

Simply answering a call or confirming your identity to the wrong person can expose you to sophisticated scams. In our ongoing commitment to protect your assets—following the launch of our Withdrawal Protection feature—we are introducing SwissBorg Call Authenticator to restore absolute trust in every phone conversation you have with us.

How SwissBorg Call Authenticator Works

From now on, you no longer have to guess if a caller is truly from SwissBorg. We have integrated our communication directly into the secure environment of the SwissBorg app.

  • In-App Verification: A phone call is only legitimate if it is preceded by an official in-app notification and a push notification sent directly by the SwissBorg app.
  • Complete Transparency: The notification will display the name of the SwissBorg team member reaching out.

Zero Effort, Maximum Protection

This protective procedure is enforced automatically. There is no action required on your part other than checking your notifications to verify they originated from the official SwissBorg app.

Important: Any SMS or unannounced phone call claiming to be from SwissBorg should be considered non-legitimate and potentially fraudulent.

 

🛡️ Essential Security Reminders

To keep your account safe, remember that a SwissBorg employee will NEVER:

  1. Ask for your recovery phrase or pincode: This data is encrypted, and we have no access to it.
  2. Ask you to transfer funds: We will never request that you move your assets to a "safe" wallet or any other address.
  3. Contact you outside the app: Official support and security signals happen within our secure ecosystem.
  4. Provide support on social media: We do not conduct support or security verifications via X (Twitter), Telegram, or Instagram.
