Security is one of the key values at SwissBorg. To make our app the most secure financial mobile application, we introduce the Account Freeze feature.
Account Freeze will last for 24 hours and it will occur when you do:
- Any type of Account Recovery
- Update Phone
- Update email
During that 24h period, you can’t:
- Withdraw Fiat
- Add Fiat Withdrawal Address (Add Bank Account)
- Send Crypto
- Update Phone
- Update Email
- Activate Recovery Phrase
- Revoke Recovery Phrase (for those users who have it)
This feature was developed to help fighting against fraudsters. If you do an account recovery, change your phone number or email address, your account will be frozen for 24 hours. During that time all the actions mentioned above are disabled. If it wasn’t you who made this update, you will have 24 hours to contact support. It will create a high priority ticket and we’ll be able to block all withdrawals for your account and your funds will be safe.
