What happens to a SwissBorg Account If the owner passes away?

We understand that questions around loss — whether you’re managing a loved one’s account or planning ahead for your own — can be deeply personal. Our team is here to assist you with care and respect every step of the way.

If You’re Contacting Us About a Deceased User’s Account

If someone close to you has passed away, and you need help managing their SwissBorg account, our Support Team will guide you through the next steps.

Once the legal beneficiary is strictly authenticated, the account will be secured, and we will accompany them through the legal framework required by our regulators to ensure the safe and proper management of the funds.

You can contact us through either of the following options:

  • Open the SwissBorg app → go to SupportChat with Us

  • Email support@swissborg.com with the subject: “Account Management After Death”

We will ensure the account is handled securely and respectfully, and that the process remains as clear and supportive as possible.

If You’re Planning Ahead for Your Own Account

If you’re considering what will happen to your account in the event of your passing, your designated legal beneficiary will need to contact us. Once their identity is strictly verified, the funds will be secured, and we will guide them through the process in compliance with applicable regulations.

Our team will be ready to provide clarity, guidance, and all necessary documentation to make the process as straightforward as possible for your loved ones. Any request will be handled with privacy, care, and respect.

We’re Here to Support You

Whether you’re going through a difficult time or simply seeking clarity, you’re not alone. Our team is here to help and will handle your request with care and attention.

Since our launch in Spring 2020, SwissBorg has built a secure and regulated environment for wealth management, with a strong track record of protecting our community. Our commitment to safeguarding your assets remains at the heart of everything we do.
