SwissBorg is built in Switzerland and operates internationally through a group of companies. In the European Union, crypto-asset services are provided by BlockNodes SAS (29 rue Blanche, 75009 Paris), a company authorised by the French Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), authorisation no. A2026-011.

Under this authorisation, BlockNodes SAS may provide the following crypto-asset services on behalf of clients: custody and administration, execution of orders, placing, advice, portfolio management, and transfer services.

A MiCA authorisation is granted only after the AMF has assessed, among other things, the financial soundness of the applicant, the good repute of its management, and the robustness of its operational arrangements. As an authorised CASP, BlockNodes SAS is also subject to applicable anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing (AML/CFT) obligations, including customer due diligence (KYC) measures designed to prevent misuse of the platform.
