The SwissBorg app gives you full control over your Crypto Debit Card. At any time, you are free to freeze, block, or even delete your card.
This article dives into all the three functions.
How to ‘Freeze’ your card
It can happen you may want to temporarily freeze your card as a preventive measure, for example when traveling to a risky place, or you feel someone unwanted may have access to your phone.
In this case, the Freeze function is what can fit you best.
Open the SwissBorg app
Tap on ‘Crypto Card’
Tap on ‘Freeze’
Your card now cannot be used for any transaction, either online or in a physical store.
You can unfreeze the card at any time from the same button you used to freeze it.
How to ‘Block' your card
Open the SwissBorg app
Tap on ‘Crypto Card’
Tap on ‘Settings’.
Tap on ‘Report Card'
An agent from our Support Team will review your case and block the card. A blocked card CANNOT be reactivated via the app. You will need to contact Support again and verify your identity before your card can be resumed.
NOTE
Use this function if you suspect someone may have access to your phone and your SwissBorg account.
How to ‘Delete’ your card
Open the SwissBorg app
Tap on ‘Crypto Card’
Tap on ‘Settings’.
Tap on ‘Delete Card’.
NOTE
Once you delete a card, the action is permanent. It can never been restored. If you wish to keeping using the SwissBorg Crypto Debit Card, you will need to request a new one.
