1. How does locking BORG benefit me?
Locking BORG increases your Loyalty Rank, which unlocks exclusive perks like higher cashback rates and early access to new opportunities. Additionally, it unlocks voting power - that can be used to shape the future of SwissBorg & earn rewards.
2. How does locking affect my Loyalty Rank?
Your Loyalty Rank increases only through BORG locking and your Multiplier. 1 BORG locked = 1 point in your loyalty score, which is used to calculate your Rank.
3. How often is the Cashback payout?
The first Cashback payout will be made approximately one month after the scheme starts. After this, cashback will be delivered every week. You’ll find “Next Cashback Payout” displayed in days on the Loyalty Rank screen of your app.
4. Where can I find my Cashback payout?
Your Cashback payout is credited directly to your Locked BORG account. Please, go to Portfolio Tab > BORG > Locked BORG.
5. Will my Cashback be automatically locked?
Yes, the BORG sent will be directly placed in the Locked BORG account. It can be unlocked at any time and will be available after a 14-day cooldown period.
6. How is BORG locking converted to Voting Power?
For every 10 BORG locked, you gain 1 Voting Power, ensuring fair and proportional influence. You do not need to achieve a specific rank to increase your Voting Power, it’s directly proportional to your locked BORG. Your Multiplier does not increase your Voting Power, it’s from locked BORG only!
7. What rewards do I get for voting?
Guardians Rewards are distributed in BORG at the end of each quarterly session and are maximised by your locked BORG at the time of voting and from participating in all the votes that take place. The better SwissBorg performs, the more BORG gets allocated to the Guardians!
8. Is there a cooldown for unlocking?
Yes, there’s a 14-day cooldown period. During this time, you lose voting power on the BORG you’ve unlocked until the funds return to your account. If your Rank decreases by unlocking the BORG, you will also lose the associated benefits.
9. Can I cancel a transaction in Cooldown?
Yes, cancelling the cooldown will automatically relock your BORG.
10. What happens to my Premium locked BORG?
BORG in your Premium are auto-transferred to your locked BORG account, where they will immediately contribute to your Rank. At that point, they will exist under the same terms as all locked BORG, including the 14-day cooldown.
11. Do I get cashback when I buy a Bundle?
Yes! Bundles and Managed Portfolios both count for Cashback when you buy/sell. The only thing that’s excluded is the monthly subscription fee.
