What are Alpha Early Deals?

Unlike regular crypto assets or Thematics, Alpha Early deals are limited time offers that allow you to jump into early crypto projects curated by our market analysts, and that may not be listed yet on exchanges.

Most of the time, these projects haven’t started issuing their tokens yet. When the token is issued, this event is called TGE (Token Generation Event).

Why to invest in Alpha Deals?

When you invest in an Alpha Deal, you:

  • Get access to new tokens not available to the major public yet. This gives you the chance to buy a token before everyone else does, increasing the probability to obtain high returns.

  • Get exclusive discount on the market price accessible only to SwissBorg users through Alpha Deals.

  • Book a stake into a project that hasn’t issued its tokens yet, increasing your chances of getting the future tokens at a lower-than-market price.

However, it’s important to highlight the risks and downsides of investing in early projects:

  • These are brand-new tokens and as such, they are much riskier than established assets like Bitcoin or Solana, for example.

  • Most Alpha Deals include a lock-up period, meaning that you won’t be able to sell the assets right away. This is done to protect the asset’s price and to ensure initial liquidity for the project.

  • Assets listed before TGE won’t be available on your balance until the event takes place and the distribution starts. Please, read the deal’s Terms & Condition before investing.

For these reasons, despite every Alpha deal is thoroughly selected by our investment team, we still invite you to do your own research before investing.

How to invest in Alpha Deals

Whenever an Alpha Early Deal is open, you will be notified both via email and in-app notification.

If you miss these alerts, no worries. You can find any open Alpha Deal in the “Invest” tab.

By tapping on the deal, you will see all the main terms for the product.

To clarify some terms:

  • Lock-up Period: How long the invested funds will be unavailable for withdrawal/exchange.

  • Start Date: When the deal will open and ready to receive investments.

  • End Date: When the invested funds will be fully released and thus available for withdrawal/exchange.

  • Cliff Period: How long it will take before the tokens will be distributed to the investors.

  • Vesting Period: The vesting is the progressive distribution of the tokens to the investors, which can happen gradually over a period of “X” months, in order to protect the asset’s price and ensure liquidity to the project.
